Diff SVZ

Just found out my diff is shot. Any idea on what a replacement will cost. Have been quoted $1400 to $2200 depending on what is wrong with it

I don't know sh#te from clay but that sounds pretty pricey!

That is definately pricey.. have a look around the net.. Complete diff's can be found from $500 Upwards. just check out the condition prior to purchase. Im Hunting some 3.46s or 3.08s down at the moment.. ill let you know if i find anything...

I assume your chasing 2.87 LSD, or are they 3.08 in the SVZs?

Far as I know 3.08 not a lsd Not very handy when it comes to this sort of stuff.

second hand are going around the 500 mark, and reco's are around the 1k mark, look around m8, for that kinda money i would be expecting a hi performance diff

i got a my old diff out of my vz sv6 it's 2.89 LSD if u are interested? there's nothing wrong with it i just changed my ratio.

Thanks mate fixed the problem. Cousins mechanic boyfriend replaced with a rebuilt unit. cheers
