Lights/Radio wont turn off when i open the door

My lights and radio aren't turning off when i open the door after turning my car off. This is annoying me very badly! I had a quick search and didnt find anything - mainly interior light and radio loom threads.

Anyone have any ideas? Please tell me its not the BCM shitting itself

happend a couple of times in my vy so i just went into the extra settings when you start the car and changed it so the radio just turns off when you turn the key off

i had this prob in my old vz, it was just a case of cleaning the door switch and it was sweet

Yep itll be corrosion on the door switch, there are revised door switches with rubber seals to stop water entry.

hope this works gunna try it tomorrow, as my HSV started doing this problem this afternoon, was fine all day until we just went out at bout 7:30pm

yeah it's that little thing that goes in when you open the door, just press it so it turns them off until you clean it xD

mine was pretty clean, it's still being weird but least it's working for now

now the radio won't turn on (accessories on) unless i hit on, or start the car, but if i do that the radio won't turn off when i open the door i gotta hit off, this is getting annoying
