Hey Guys,im new to hear.
Hopefully you guys can help me
I Own a 2005 VZ Calais. and since i purchased it the Lights that light up the gear shifter at night(PRD12L) dont work.i can get it to work but i need to tap the light to get it to work,i took it back to my dealership and they "fixed it",but the probelem has reoccurred.
i hope ya guys can help as its bloody annoying everytime i drive at night i have to bang the lights to get them to work.

coud also be the contacts in globe holder needs to be pushed out a lil to grip globe tighter

yeah mate, i got the same car. exact same problem. its really annoying..
i also have a calais and have the same problem too
sounds like the globes on its way out, mine was doing the same then just stopped working, replaced the globe and its worked fine since
or just use the dash read out for wat gear ur going into.....

Also Guys The Default tire size for the vz Calais is 17x8 yeah?,i couldnt seem to find a tire placard on my car,im just wondering if i can go to 20s,or the highest i can go is 19x9?

hey mate, if you take off your drivers side front door trim, the tyre placeard will be under there, its above the lock assembly where the lock part latches from the door onto the body of the car

woah shit, sorry mate..i think i may have gotten 2 posts mixed up at the same time haha, just open your door, and it's above the locking part that latches onto the body of the car...on the door sill...as i described before..nothing about taking the trim off hahaha, sorry mate
