The vibration may be caused from when they put the rotors back onto the hubs there may have been some rust scale on either the hub or back of the rotor or both and they neve cleaned it off good enough so the rotors are not sitting flat on the hub,
The rattling noise may be a brake pad rattling around?

Takew it back to the party responsible for the repairs. Tell them what the problems are and let them fix them. Surely they gave a warranty for the repairs undertaken ?

A "brake specialist", and then this? My understanding is that after major brake work the pads must be seated with a hard braking, go, more hard braking, to seat them. During this time they squeal and grab and can be touchy, and ABS will also introduce its own strange feel. A specialist fitter would not leave anything to chance when safety is paramount and brakes have a big job to do safety-wise.

I had a jiggling sound on my Lexcen CSi V6 wagon through the steering for years and it was put down to untrue steering cross-member (or some such), a result of not seeing a speed hump at 100km/h in Tasmania on a dark night 10 or so years ago.
