which would be a better size for the pvc pipe.
and which would make a louder growl?
    90mm or 70mm?

i used 90mm for mine...i don't think either size would matter that much koz its not a shitload of suction going through the pipes....but to save hassles i wish i had used the 70mm, the 90mm touches the standard pipe and is just more hassle then it worths to make them fit..my 2nd pvc pipe sits abit sideways atm haha but its hardly noticeable

I went 90mm, it sounded pretty loud before I fitted my exhaust. Now all I can hear is that.

I went with 90mm as listed in the original guide here: http://swingtan.customer.netspace.net.au/2hole.html

Noticed it before I got the exhaust, now all my attention is drawn away :P

use a 90mm hole saw ( used on down lights etc ) and you can drill a very nice and precise hole right next to existing 90mm hole

I used 90mm too, you just need to sand down one side of the flare to make them fit together like in the guide linked above.

yeah the 90mm fits better if you snap/cut/sand/file part of the flange off that comes from the bottom bracket, noticed bit of growl moslty in the lower part of rev range under heavy throttle.
