    Default Clunking noise when steering

Hi there folks, any body have an idea what could be the matter with my front end? I am hearing a clunking noise when steering sharply left or right as in when maneuvering in a carpark. The noise seems to be coming from the front left hand side. It's an 06 Calais, done 108K kms.
    Cheers, tRev.

    I had the same problem.
Just check for rocks in where your front springs sit in the struts.

Steering rack worn out? Cheaper to check the rack hold down bolts first for tightness - should be as tight as......

    Hi mate,
Definitely your sway bay links - had to change mine recently as the bushes had finally given up the ghost (I've done 130k on the odo).
While I was at it, I also did the strut bushes too - they had collapsed.
Now the front end is tight as!
