Will a VY steering wheel fit straight onto a VZ?

Hi all, I just bought a 2007 VZ executive wagon, but after driving a VTII S for years I find I hate the straight edged plastic feel of the VZ wheel. I can get a nice VY leather one, but have read that you have to file something down on the back.

Any help please.

I put a vy wheel on my mothers vz acclaim. You're only filing down a little bit so it won't make any difference. The vz airbag will go onto the vy wheel ok.

Someone just told me the wiring may be different. Juzo, did your mums wheel have the volume buttons etc on the wheel and is the wiring the same? Thanks
