2 hole mod quiery

hey guys, ive done the 2 hole mod in my sv6 a while ago, and i was thinking what i should do with it to get more cold air.

what i mean is that atm, i have the 2 90mm pipes coming out of the box, but should i have the original snorkel and just one of the pipes coming out, or just leave it as the 2 pipes coming out?

what would get more cooler air?

Leave it how it is now, as that snorkel thing is very restrictive. I suggest installing an aftermarket air filter (i.e. K&N) if you haven't done so already.

Get rid of snorkel and get hold of the shroud that blocks off the area in front of the airbox from the engine bay, memory fails me I think its off the monaro?

thanks for the replies, yea i have got the k&n in there now and im gonna buy the MCAI when i get paid, from memory i think its like $36 all up.

when i get the shroud, should i leave the pipes in or just remove them?

Pipes go through the shroud to prevent hot air sneaking through the gap between the shroud and airbox.
