i dunno if its right, just that they are all the same size tyre, why put them at different psi? and inside the drivers door there are some recommendations, i think 34psi is the norm, but i like them to feel a bit more harder, i even go as high as 38 sometimes, but rarely

when i was running 17's i had kuhmo's on and had 40psi in them...even with a good wheel align they wore better when harder, if i ran 34-36 they would feather the edges inside and out...the offset of that was when punting it around bends the threshold of grip was a tad less and you had to be careful...best advise i could give is run them at different pressures for a week or so and you'll feel where the sweet spot is...as a matter of interest now ive got 19's im running them at 34 so go figure...

I ran my old 19's at 36 and right down to the wear indicators the tyres wore nice and flat with little or no difference between the centre and the edges.
The tyre place fitted my new tyres with 40psi so will see how that goes for a while until I check the pressures in a couple of weeks.

Tyre wear is governed by your wheel alignment specs more than anything. Running very low pressures will kill your tyres of course but as long as you have at least 32psi in there it wont cause wear issues. I wouldnt go over 36psi as all youre doing is making the ride harsher.

Dial in some negative camber on the fronts and you will notice a huge increase in cornering traction.

the grip loss was past tense as i no longer have the 17's and any more neg camber would only create tyre wear...as said the only wear in the tyres was from tyre pressure and the harder i ran them the less they wore...figsvz just needs to make sure his wheel align is good and play with the pressures till he finds a good balance...

36psi for city driving, 38psi for a mix of city and highway driving and 40psi for mostly highway driving.
