    Default OTR Intake

    hey guys,

just bought myself a VZ v6 Ute, 6 spd. drives like a dream.

looking at some ideas for my Air intake.

i was having a look around and came across this.

    VT- VZ OTR Intake
    http://performancespares.com.au/plas...ore-p-375.html

it states you must have a mafless tune which i'm unsure if thats even possible for the alloytecs yet?

what do you guys think about this opposed to the 2 hole mod, or SS inductions kit.
including value for money, for each of the 3 mods.

    your thoughts would be appreciated.

thanks for that mate, i didnt see it stating V8 anywhere on the page?

ill give the 2 hole mod a bash next weekend.

    thanks for your help.

still seems odd that two holes inside the engine bay draw more cool air, i still get the idea that it would be warmer air but at a higher flow, opposed to what comes down the factory pipe to the airbox, cooler air? but less flow?

ive got a spare bottom of the airbox casing, ill cut that one up and see what i can make of it :P

yeh they didnt state that it was for v8, also another option is the MACE cold air enclosure which is good aswell

You can tell because it's from VT-VZ. The only engine those models shared were the LSX's. VT-VY had the Ecotec V6, where as the VZ had the alloytech, like yourself.

As WogBoyz said, either two hole hod and K & N filter, or the MCAI.

2 hole mod will serve you best and a tune........ I have a SS Inductions kit myself but it's a bit drousy in the mid range with it.
