confused about alloytec exhaust set up, HELP!!!

all im hearing from old posts is that its real hard to get a good note out of a vz alloytec. i've got her booked in next week for a high flow rear muffler, instead of a cat back system, to try and get a note out of it (only costing 150) can any one tell me if this is a good idea or not? cheers

Most people will say that the alloytec sounds a bit like a burnt out muffler at low revs, but honestly, it really doesn't sound that bad. I've got a single 2.5in catback with no rear muffler for 50 bucks off eBay and it sounds fine, a bit raspy, but really good up in the higher revs. A high flow rear muffler will only make the standard note a bit louder. It might sound good, but I'm really not sure.

I've been looking to put a dual catback on soon, but from what I've heard from YouTube, they don't sound much better.
