    Post accelerator lag

hey people, just wondering if there is any way to fix the lag on my sv6 accelerator pedal?

also for the guys who have had a tune, does the tune fix it? or still laggy?

    cheers

Can't really speak from experience here, as I haven't had a tune yet; however I believe PowerChip states that the accelerator becomes a lot more responsive after their tune. Not sure on VCM however, though it certainly seems to be the more popular option around here

as vz and ve use a fly by wire throttle body there is no throttle cable so to speak. There for there will always be lag because of delay between ur foot and accelerating

Some time ago on here, there was some discussion about opening up your accelerator pedal & making a minor tweak to the cover. u'll have to search that one as its been covered here before. In terms of it working or it being a placebo ill let u decide if you do alter the accelerator cover.

yea i found that thread, and did the adjustment. its still a bit laggy, but it definately made an improvement to the responsiveness. i just did it yesterday. but still, is the lag caused by the torque management or just because its all an electrical connection?
