Default 2007 VZ ute has P0302 code

    I have a 2007 vz ute
comes up with P0302 code which is miss fire on cylinder 2. ( cylinder 2, is that drivers side front of motor? )
I've changed the plugs & the coil & it still misses and runs rough
some times it will run good for a bit.
Any suggestions on what it might be????

injectors possibly..im pretty sure your even bank is on the passenger side..if i remember correctly its opposite to the ecotec...have a look at your rocker covers, one will sit further towards the front of the car then the other..the one closest to the front of the car is odds (1-3-5) and the other side sitting further back is your evens(2-4-6)

Well you where spot on.......switched over the coil to the right cylinder, and good as new.
Thanks Heaps.....You saved me a lot of $$$$ I had booked it into the mechanic & then i seen your post :-)

It was a mechanic that gave me that false imformation about where number 2 cylinder was, cant trust them.
