nah more than that... they made their way into the last 6 months of production in the calais, VZ thunder ute, and a few caprices before the VE came up for sale

The VZ 6.0L was offered in L76 form from Jan06 until Aug06 when the VE started then I believe that VZ utes built after Aug06 got the L98.
The L76 has displacement on demend hardware fitted but doesn't work due to computer work not carried out by holden.
DOD are special lifter kit fitted only to the back 4 cylinders.
The L98 is essentially the same engine with std style cam lifters for all 8 cylinders
