G'day,
i've just done a brake fluid flush on my vz v6 ute...after doing it, i dunno if its just me thinking it doesn't feel right, if it's actually not right, or if there's air in my system...i doubt there's air in there koz nothing came out and no air went in...my pedal seems abit long before it seems to do anything though.
the very end of the brake pedal pad would travel about 5-10 cm towards the floor before it starts to actually brake...the brakes pull up fine and it doesn't feel as though it's air in the system, there's not enough effort for it to feel like air is compressing within the lines etc...could a few of you's measure or have a rough guess as to how far the tip of there brake pedal would travel before the brakes are actually applied so i can determine if something is wrong, thanks heaps everyone
cheers
