Hey guys, just been given an offer.. To complete swap my stock 17" sv6 rims for 20" 245 deep dish chrome rims. The down fall is that the 2 rear tyres are worn out so I will need rubber. So question is..
1. Sound like a bargain? The rims are in good condition.
2. How much would rubber set me back for the 2. Kinda need quick advise.
Cheers
tyres will probs be around the 150-200 mark, its been awhile since ive been shopping for 20'' tyres
Are they rims buckeled any?? Make sure they are round otherwise you can be up for a few hunge to get them repaired...
I normally pay about $190/$220 for decent/but cheap tyres, depending on brands you could be up for a fair bit more.
Sounds like a bargain, got any pics/a name of the rims?
They are mkw. Not sure if they are good or not. Il try upload a pic
LOL nope
Do you know what 'number' they are?
Found a link on my iPhone. Hope it works, but this is what they look like
mkw wheels - Google Search
mmm, that link just shows up a heap of different pics, so, not sure which ones you mean.
Either way, they sound like a good deal, as long as you like the look of them
(I was just curious to see them)
EDIT: Just saw your latest post, sweet as, they look alright, I don't mind a bit of chrome, but theres lots of people who don't like the 'bling'
So, as long as you like them, then go for 'em, and just make sure the chrome isn't all pit marked/cracking/rusting, its not that cheap to get wheels re-chromed.
