door lock problems!

i went to open my vz sv6 this morning as i usually would. Press the open button twice and unlock all the doors. I went to open the drivers door as usual but nothing! it wouldnt open, even though it was unlocked and the inside lock was in the up/open position. I then went to the passengers door, it work as usual, i then leant over the passengers seat to unlock the drivers door from the inside and it wouldnt work from the inside either?! I now have to get in through the passengers door and hop over the gear stick and handbrake into the drivers seat and do the same thing to get out of the car.
I made sure the door was unlocked ( which it was ) but would still not open from the in or outside.

Does anyone know what i could do to fix this? Or has any one experienced this?

try the key in the door after you unlock it. beware, you may set off your alarm, in which you have to turn the acc on in the ignition

same thing happened to me a few days ago. does your handle go all the way up? or does it get stuck half way? my handle would get stuck half way, so i had to open my rear right door to pull the lock thing up abit more. but i kept doing it and it fixed itself

exact same thing happend to me a couple time but now its all good

my handle goes all the way up as if it was locked, but it is unlocked (and yes i am 100 percent sure of that ! )
