na nothing you can do buddy, its got to do with the electronic throttle. mines like that and every other vz will be too. im not sure if a tune can fix it though, but i wouldnt be worried, its normal.

okay vz sluggis accleration (ignoring the "others" cause i knew you watching post and im lazy )
is there an engine light on?
is your air filter blocked? (can you see through it if you hold it up too light?)
    is the engine misfiring?
can you hear any wiered noises around your motor?

well start here at the basics huh?

    ign on
    intake off
    pedal full throttle
the "butterfly" or disc inside should move to horizontal or as little restriction as possible

after this check we move to but not in this order!~
fuel preasures, blocked exhaust or restricted intake tube, incorrectly fitted maf sensr (wrong way around has arrow on it), dtc checks, compression checks

you may need someone to step on the pedal while you look at it

adjusting the internals on pedals from different models will normaly end up wtih o no linear movement of the butterfly e.g. not smooth
would be better getting a wreckers one than adjust this screw think of it as a mixture screw!~

i told him to wedge the pedal p higher too that info for the pedal adjustment would be good for fitting fly by wire to a cable tyoe car but...
