kingsprings vs pedders?

hey guys i've got two mates who have used pedders and are really happy with the look and ride but i also have a mate who swears by king springs?

i was thinking sl springs front, ssl in rear, considering i will be putting 19s soon on my vz wagon.
should i also put short shockers on too? or will standard be fine?
