hi all
reading on strut bars where do u install them and what is the purpose of them? do they make driving better or is there not point upgrading?
cheers
They go between the strut towers over the top of your engine, or behind if engine sits too high like with ecotecs in VS-VY's.
Purpose is too stiffen up the chassis supposedly to help with handling and steering.
Probably negligable difference on a road car with std suspension but if you start stiffening up your suspension (springs, shocks and swaybars) thyen adding a strut bar will help the whole process.
There is one fitted stock to HSV VZ's like in my senator if you need to see a pic of one.

Maybe do a search first. This topic has been done to death. Link below for you to read through and then go and make up your own mind if you want to spend the money of approx $45-$75 or thereabouts depending on if you get trade price or not at your local dealer.
