Hey guys, I'll start with how it happened.
Couple of weeks ago, Our bridge flooded, and I had to drive through the water to get into town, all went well, come back to the car and started it, and the Check engine light came on, Put the scan gauge to it, Gave me Code p0521 and p0522 and a code that I cant find anywhere ba222...
Now, It's just giving me p0522 and if I clear it on the scan gauge, the ' check oil ' signal flashes up than goes away. So I'm stumped, I don't know what it could be, I have cleaned all the plugs that are hooked up to the bottom of the sump and oil pressure sender. But still nothing
Any ideas what I could clean/replace to get rid of the engine light from popping up every time I start the car ?
Thanks.
Only thing left to do is replaces the pressure sender.
So, there won't be any wiring damage ? There isn't an actual circuit for it apart from the sender ? Thats what I'm worried about. lol.
haha I really need to edit my profile. Still saying I own a VH, Thats upside down in my backyard haha.
It's upside down in your backyard!?
Well, really! Isn't it about time you learnt to slow down and park carefully when pulling in!?![]()

i have a app on my iphone that translates codes haha it says p0522 is engine oil pressure sensor low voltage.. i dnt know much about sensors ect but i wud say replace the sensor i have heard they are about $70 and a easy change over so u could do it yourself. it may be wiring but i doubt it i cant see how wires would break from water damage.. also there may be a sensor fuse that blew from the water but i doubt it.. check anyway though cheers
well I may as well post a photo of the VH lol...
The photo was taken to post photos on FB of my 4x4 stuck but you can see a some of the VH upside down with some bullet holes in it.
I think I MAY of posted my ride here years ago. I'll see if I can find it.
