Hi guys,
I know this sort of question has been posted heaps but mine has a twist
To those of you who have replaced their factory headunits with aftermarket ones, are you able to provide me some photo's how what it looks like?
Double Din and Single Din would be nice
Im keen to see what sort of difference the head unit makes in terms of aesthetics.
Cheers
Hi have a Philips CED1700 unit looks very stock and a awsome unit.

would love to get a double din setup like the one above but i really do not want to lose my steering wheel controls![]()
should be able to still use steering wheel controls, just gotta get the device, cant remember what it is, but my controls still work with the alpine player

Dijm8's Unit looks awesome! I'm keen to replace the stock unit also and definately reckon double din is the way to go! Am still trying to decide if losing the steering wheel contorls would affect me that much. I hear you have to buy some sort of transmitter or something to regain control of them which sounds like an annoyance to me already!
There are units which you can get to retain the steering wheel controls, but be prepared to pay about $200 for them.
One thing you won't be able to get back, however, is the digital display on the dash which tells you the radio station and volume and all that.
I have a pioneer dbl din and my steering wheel still works u need to buy a couple plugs 1 went in the back of the head unit and the othe plugged in to it and in to the loom
Check your unit has the plug but they are not that dear.

I haven’t bothered coz I never used the steering wheel controls that much anyway.
