Default Top of Rear Passenger side leaking Leaking

I am not sure where but there is a leak somewhere coming from my Rear Passenger door, all seals are fine and door is not damaged or bent and window is up completely! When I had a look there was water sitting on the Top of the velour stuff on top of the door. Any ideas apparently it is common on VY-VZ.

try and bend the door in slightly at the top to get more tension against the rubbers. If it is leaking onto the floor check that it is not coming in from under the door trim, because if it is it will be the door membrane ( the plastic over the inside of the door under door trim), if it is tawn it will give you a water leak

I bought a VY sedan about 2 years ago and first drive in a heavy storm the rear left footwell pretty much filled with water. I traced it back to a leak from behind the door trim and discovered that some knob had torn the plastic seal and done a pretty crappy job sealing it back on. I resealed it the leak was fixed until the sealant dried out and began to leak again so I bought a new plastic seal from Holden and attached it with spray contact adhesive. Sikaflex is not really suitable as it is an adhesive and window sealer which I used the first time dried out and came unstuck fromthe plastic seal over time.
I've got no more leaks from behind the door trim but water still gets in sometimes and I think it is from the top edge of the door however when I open the door the bottom rubber on the body has a lot of water sitting in it's seam.
If you look at the rear door glass you will notice it goes up too far at the back and distorts the door rubber. Holden have a kit to fit stoppers to the rear channel to try and keep the door glass straight however fitment is no simple task as I understand it.
With your door open raise and lower th ewindows and see if when fully raised they distort the rubber seal and try adjusting the front stopper and see what happens.

As far as my car goes now for some reason it does not leak everytime it is driven or left in the rain and no water seems to get in when I wash it so I am a bit confused and just put a couple of towels on the floor when it's raining and hopefully it won't rust out until after I have sold it.
