ok so my brother crashed my ute. the car understeered and hit the gutter totalling my new rim and damgeing something. anybody got an idea what damage is done and how much. the front left hand wheel is on camber quite bad. the top of the wheel sticking out and bottom sticking in. the wheel seems like the left is pushed to the back of the car alot for than the left. causing tyre to rub. also when inspecting it. when slowly moving then touching the brakes the car slides forward while the wheel stays put. any ideas of whats wrong and how much roughly would be helpful.
Some pics would be helpful, inside the engine bay, underneath etc...
Just going by the description, guessing at least the radius rod and bush, lower control arm and bush, strut and strut top/bearing plate, maybe even the engine crossmember. Maybe even tweaked the sway bar too, depending on how much its moved?
Thats if the body of the car isn't 'twisted' have a look around the strut tower inside the engine bay, see it it looks to be bent/cracked around the joint/or moved in anyway.
Pretty much averything thats under the front end!
I would say at least z bar and bushes strut and maybe bottom arm and rack and check the K-frame aswell it migh of pulled it around aswell. (thats why I never let my brothers drive my cars)
thanks guys. thats the problem being the fron end could be anything.
Take wheel off on get some pics, with a picture we'll at least get an idea of the damage.
