275 would need guards rolled as a minimum i would have thought.
Yeah rolled right out. 265 scrubs if the guard is low enough.
OR you could go all out and tub it?? Go for monster tyres that way![]()
$3000 later.
Yeah thats it mate, when i had my maloo it had already been done. fairly shonky job though wasnt welded up properly.
All the poor bloke wants is some sticky tyres to whack on his commo.
Not a purpose build drag missile. Good luck getting a VZ engineered with tubs.
A good mate of mine run these on a 10sec torana.

If you put the 235/60/r15's on a VZ with even top end mods, I doubt you'll have traction issues.
or you could even try 255s they should just fit.
They'll fit, but they're not necissary. Not even nearly.
They'll cost a bit more too. They're not cheap tyres to start with.
Actually upon relfection i agree with you soop. 235's wouldnt be a bad option. Cheaper and you know they are gunna fit no worries.
well so 255 50 16s will fit without the guards needing to be rolled

Yeah they should fit. I'm not 100% positive on that though, I know 245's do no drama, so 255 might be cutting it.
255s might slightly scrub... But only one way to find out![]()
Yeah, but thats not by spending a small fortune on slicks that dont fit.
nah what i meant was go to a tyre shop see if they have one laying around they can dummy fit. They should do it for you if there is a sale in it for them (i.e. buying the radials from them)
lol... I haven't seen many shops with mickey T's just floating around.
I have 2 around the corner from me lol
just go into a performance shop most will have some lying around if they stock them drag radials in 235 should be plenty if your just taking the daily out for a drag
its up to you mate. 255s will cost more than 235s but both will do the job. If its only once in a while you go drags have a look for some second hand ones.
ok so being stubborn i got 255 50 16 hoosiers 307 to buy 50 to my door i get them fitted today it will be close but ill tell you how i go, if they fit im going racing today.

Well the 255 50 16 hoosiers fit without rolling the Gards there is not much in it and it is real close like pubic hair close. I went to the drags and ran all night an no rubbing at all. The only thing is and I don't know if it makes any difference but my car is standard Ss hight.
