LOL. First off he is asking about a VZ, not VS. Second the tyres in question are no where near the size you mentioned. Lastly his car isn't tubbed... How is your post even remotely related?? I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

I think the biggest tyres that will fit under a standard VZ guard is 255 mate. Depending on rim off set.

    I have a lowered e30 318i, has 215/45/17s i think they were. It was a e30 318i though.

I think 235 was standard width for VZ SS so you 275 is pretty massive... I'd assume guards would need to be rolled atleast for those...

All the poor bloke wants is some sticky tyres to whack on his commo.
Not a purpose build drag missile. Good luck getting a VZ engineered with tubs.

A good mate of mine run these on a 10sec torana.

If you put the 235/60/r15's on a VZ with even top end mods, I doubt you'll have traction issues.

They'll fit, but they're not necissary. Not even nearly.

They'll cost a bit more too. They're not cheap tyres to start with.

Actually upon relfection i agree with you soop. 235's wouldnt be a bad option. Cheaper and you know they are gunna fit no worries.

Yeah they should fit. I'm not 100% positive on that though, I know 245's do no drama, so 255 might be cutting it.

nah what i meant was go to a tyre shop see if they have one laying around they can dummy fit. They should do it for you if there is a sale in it for them (i.e. buying the radials from them)

its up to you mate. 255s will cost more than 235s but both will do the job. If its only once in a while you go drags have a look for some second hand ones.

Well the 255 50 16 hoosiers fit without rolling the Gards there is not much in it and it is real close like pubic hair close. I went to the drags and ran all night an no rubbing at all. The only thing is and I don't know if it makes any difference but my car is standard Ss hight.
