    Default is it a vz or somethen different

    mate of mine has a 2006 vz thunder he trying to sell but we looked under hood and seen the manufacture plate and it said built in 2007...tell me is it a vz as i do believe vzs were stopped in 06? if this is true what model is his car? its a ute obviously!

    also forgot to mention its a 6l v8 and has hsv stamps on manufac plate aswel!!!

    yeh could most proberly be 1 of the last of the lines if it says 07 as the ve's wher brought out end of 06 im pretty sure, and they wher still making the vz wagons for quite awhile too

    The ve ute didnt come out till august 2007 and they were still makin the vz's up until then. So yeah it is legit

    Yep, VZ sedans finished in 2006, but production of the ute and wagon models continued until September 2007, from memory.

    some of the last VZ V8's were L98's instead of L76's so there was no DOD (AFM) lifters in L98's, makes cam changes a lot easier.

    Thats a winner!

    Holden have a small history with the change over models look at VT when it came out in 1997 the VS ute`s, wagons and statesman's continued to 2000 (series 3) with the V8`s getting the MAF roller 179kw block.

    its most likely legit, holden tend to do that. it could be a ute thing? like vs utes going from 95 till 2000 while the sedans stoped at 97?
