    Default vy/vy s2/vz differences - after a v8 wagon

    hi there

thinking of buying a v8 wagon and i have done a bit of research into it

what i am after is one with prefereably leather and more luxury options

it seems that ss wagons are only in vy's and that in vz's berlina has the leather and luxury bits

my question is, in wagon form with a v8, what are the differences between the series?
    suspension geometry/linkages?
motor tweaks for more power/fuel consumption?
    dash and interior trim?
    and so on

any help or pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated!
    thanks in advance!

Vy sereis 1 to 2 are mostly little things, one that comes to mind are the alloy tie down rails in the floor of the wagon, the engine is the same I think. In a VZ the V8 engine has a "fly by wire" throttle.

Not sure about the trim, climate control would only be standard in a Berlina or Calais I'd think, maybe in an SS but I am not sure.

    ah ok
going off redbook, berlina would be the top of line line available with a v8 and leather etc
vy and vy s2 had berlina and ss

in terms of suspension components and geometry are they similar?
i read somewhere that the vz had better linkages?
im more worried bout rear allignment adjustability from the factory such as toe, etc

also... i read that the vy/vy s2 wagons were 5 door but vz were classed/called 4 door wagons
what is the go with that?

    thanks for the comments!
    much appreciated!
