just found out 2 of my cylinders arnt working, just wanting to how much i would be looking at to get em fixed
Cost depends on why they arten't working. Could be faulty coil, plug, injector(s), valve or valve seat, head gasket, piston or piston rings. As you can see, quite a few things could be causing the 'problem'. Suggest you consult a reputable mechanic and ask for a quote.
How did you diagnose that?
what did the actual diagnoses read, Misfire cylinder # or similiar to that, we need more details mate

Isn't there a diagnostic/problem code on the cluster display (Pnnnn) that points to a cylinder(s) at fault and/or related hardware e.g. injector, solenoid, etc., etc.?

nope, you need to go to holden or someone to diagnose engine problems such as misfires and most of the time they come back saying something like 'Misfire cylinder 3' which could be a number of problems, usually coils or injectors.. (example only)

Pooey!
I do not like the idea that we have to get in our chariot and canter to Holden for them to poke and plug something in and describe it, write a prescription then write an invoice which adds insult to injury. Time and again chapter and verse here on this forum has described how simple, small "problems" or faults have been accompanied by disproportionately big invoices and a consequence, an averse disposition to the mention of "Holden Dealer"!! We clued-up trinketboyz should be able to make sense of which cylinder misfires and what is causing it without having the Holden dummy proferred each time something goes wrong.

see thats what we are trying to gather, he has already had the diagnosis by the sounds of the OP. what it actually said is anyones game.
If it is a cylinder misfire, i would be doing injectors, plugs and coils first up..

It would be much easier to have the car in front of you as it is worked to observe what is happening. It's a bit like making a medical diagnosis without the touchy-feely of the patient. Spark plugs, when removed, will indicate a suspect coil. I took one of mine out about 2 years ago and the electrode had blow off into a vertical position; traced back to #2 coil. Replace coil (more carping over the cost!!), then the fuel pump went... I cannot win...
