    Default A/c problem

    hey

    i few weeks ago i pulled my dash (plastic) off and painted it etc
    well i got it back in then but my air con is playing up now? i have it set on face but it going threw the window...but if i turn the air con off and back on again it go's to face then when im driving and i pass 1.500rpm it cuts out back to the window

    can anyone help me?? its doing my head in so bad

    maybe the flaps are closed on the dash part. double check it

    the white flaps at the back on dash inside car seem to shut when im cruising at 1,500rpm and don't open til i stop or idle. im goin to try the vaccum line at the back of manifold 2morow...hopefully it just that

    There is a one way valve at the back of the manifold near the firewall that you can test.

    If that's not the issue then it could be a vacuum leak if you haven't connected one of the actuators behind the dash (I think there are two of them).

    all fixed. it was a vaccum hose in the engine bay under engine cover. thanks everyone for the input
