VZ Interior light issues

Hey guys...having an issue with my interior light, seems that whenever its been in the sun for a while my interior light comes on and will not turn off at all until car is completely off and locked?!?! I have no idea what the cause of this is but symtoms seem to be really hot days, and going over the odd bump in the road on warm days.. Any ideas

Have you checked that there is no condensation occurring within your light sensor (black square in the centre of your dash board)?

I assume you don’t have a dash mat or a sun shade that is covering the sensor.

If it turns off when you key off and lock, Id be checking the switch on the light itself.

check for a short somewhere
