Default Don't want a scrub thanks

hey fellas, just recently had my VZ sedan lowered by pedders and the back tyres are half a inch into the guard and obtain no guard rubbing without a camber kit installed. I am going back this Saturday to have one installed. My question is when the camber kit is installed will it have more of a chance of rubbing due to the guards are like 8mm from the tyres now and be closer to the guards when installed, and have to have the guards rolled? I am rolling on 245/35 19x8" VY signature rims.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

yeh i have done the whole lowering thing b4 and with a camber kit it will pull the tops of the wheels outwards and the bottom inwards towards the centreline of the car. If i were you i'd definately be getting my guards rolled even if they dont touch with the camber kit it'll give you that little piece of mind

theres no huge need for a camber kit on vz's, have a look at mine dont touch the gaurds at all, im sure W45H1NGT0N will agree mine is stupid low and should scrub but doesnt
just have them rolled by someone who knows wat there doing!
pedders seem to up sell things that arent always needed, when theres a cheaper and easier way to get around scrubbing

yeh josh's right lol unless you get 20inch incubus paranormals and run ssl's or lower then your in a world of scrubbing even with 225 tyres all round. so yeh just dont run rims with massive offset or really wide rims

I've got a VZ Calais lowered only on Kings SL's with a camber kit and it scrubbed on 19x8 Clubsport R8's with 235/45s. I wasn't really expecting it to scrub because it's really not that low at all but the rears scrubbed on medium size bumps and the fronts have scrubbed one or two times on big higher speed bumps. So I would say get them rolled just in case. Not worth cutting the side wall of expensive tyres or damaging the guards of your car, both of which are more expensive to fix than guard rolling
