As promised, here is my document on how to fix the sticky indicator in a vz commodore by replacing the relay in the BCM.

I have successfully fixed my commodore by following these steps.

This will hopefully save some people from paying hundreds of dollars for a bcm swap, when really, it's just a $10 part that needs to be changed in the bcm.

Use at own risk.

Here's another link to the pdf version of it for those unable to open it due to the zip file.

Thanks.
Yeah, was a bit gutted that there didn't seem to be any detail on how to fix this when it started happening to me, but am glad that I was able to put the info there for people to use.
Wasn't sure whether to put it in the electrical / how-to or vz section. I'm sure people will be able to search for it though.

Followed this guide to remove the sticky relay today, it was spot on and took me 40 minutes to remove, un-solder and put everything back together.

I just removed it for now as i would rather have no hazzard lights and flashing indicators instead of the thing sticking everytime,

im now waiting for a group buy :)

Got ya PM, ta!

I'll look into it in January. Dont know if it'll make it cheaper or not but hey if we split the postage costs amongst a few people and we meet their minimum order cost then its worth it!
