    Default VZ throttle override

It seems everytime I go to the track and pull a burnout, the throttle seems to die off after about 5 seconds. My foot is flat, the car remains stationary, but the power cuts off just as some serious smoke starts up.

Is this another annoying feature fitted to the VZ V6?

is it when you change into 3rd gear?...
mine will do a burnout fine during 1st and 2nd, but dies in 3rd... during burnout if it changes down to 2nd the burnout will start up again...

its torque management... cant get rid of it completely

Nah, its a manual. I think it could be a blocked fuel filter, or I'm riding the brake too hard. The clutch can't handle even 2nd, so i just go 1st.

Perfectly normal, built-in anti thrash software to prevent drive-line and engine damage.
