I purchased one of them USB cords for my VZ.
It didnt come with any software, has anyone had any luck connecting them to your computer to get codes and other info?
If so what software did u use?
Error codes (among other tidbits of information and flashing lights/speedo dials) can be interrogated through the Mode+Set+ACC.ON method and scrolling through I think 6-7 reports until Trouble Codes come up; record them then look up; there is a list somewhere on this forum of VZ Commodore tr*uble codes. —> Search.![]()

Thanks for that, but i want to use software along with the OBD II cord i purchased.
If you have only purchased a cord you will also need to either get a scanner or some type of software to enable interrogation. This is what you really need:
MaxiScan MS509 OBD2 Scanner Code Reader Live Data (eBay item 190399481201 end time 21-Dec-10 00:14:32 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats
