hey, just thought id ask, was driving my car with my drums in it yesterday and i was going down a slope and out of nowhere, the whole car was shaking for like 2-3 seconds, which then it became fine. what would have caused such behaviour? i just replaced rotors and pads, i doubt would be relevent but any thought appreciated
just to add, the car felt unresponsive whilst shaking, i tried to touch the accelerator but it practically did nothing.
Gulp of shitty fuel?

i dunno, i only use 98 octane. i guess i havent replaced the fuel filter yet and ive had it for 35,000km. might gove that a go. anything else to look for?
just an update, was driving home from work the other day, and same thing happened, the whole car shook violently, like my windows and side mirrors were shaking really badly. drove it a little bit and reached around 40-50km and the shaking stoped and went back to being smooth as silk. i tried to rev the car and it seemed to rev freely (during the shaking bit), so i kind have eliminated the engine misfiring. the only things i have done to my car since noticing this problem is change rotors, which i checked all of my wheel nuts and theyre all good, except 1 wheel stud which i will replace. any help anyone?
I'd be very sus of the ignision side of things. Under load the car can get the shakes if a plug/coil is not firing
A rotor will not some times shake and then not.

Try the cheapest option first, throw in a set of plugs and see how it goes...

its not a misfire, im 100% sure. i revved the car and the engine reved freely whilst it was doing its shakes. what it felt like was as if my wheel alignment is way out of whack and just shook the car, like i mean shaking it bad and increased with speed and not rpm. the higher i revved it, it did not make a difference. the faster i went, it got worse. btw, plugs were replaced 15,00 km ago. would a loose tail shaft casue something like this?
