hey everyone, im currently running my vz commodore (alloytec 3.6L) on pacemaker extractors, hi flow cat converters and a 2.5" walker catback exhaust. i have to go on monday to get one of the cat converters replaced but i want more noise, should i remove the resonator?? has anyone else does this as i wanna know what the sound difference is?

i have done it to my twin 2.5 redback. sounds alot louder, dunno what it would sound like on an exec though, but id say if you want more noise, just ask them to start it up without the rear resi on, if you like it, keep it, if ya dont, then dont change it.
Iv got the resonator removed on my sv6 with extractors to 2.5' to high flow cats then on to a 3' out the back. It sounds like a cross between a Harley Davidson and a V8. Id recomend it to anyone thinking of doing it. Its sounds really loud with heeps of grunt but when your foot is off the accelerator theres a sound (just like a harley) like the car is continously backfiring. Not in a bad way tho kinda like a low to mid rumble. Any mate of mine whos heard my car as iv had it DE baged thinks its a V8. My P plates are the only thing that give it away. Mines a 6 speed manual so when I rev up to 3 grand and above the sound is ridiculous. Everyone on my street must hate me but its worth the death stares from my neighboures. YEIWWW
thanks heaps for all ur help guys, i will remove it
but ill keep it just incase. how about performance wise? is there increase or decrease?

Will no resonator do damage to my car?
