Just purchased my first VZ Wagon and loving it!
It is still stock as a rock and look forward to chatting and getting tips on modifications from the fellow members here.

Just wondering where I'd find the stock details on the VZ model so I can determine what size rims to purchase etc.

    Thanks in advance

For rim and tyre advice look in the main part of the forum for The Wheel Deal, he has his own section up in the top section.

He can tell you everything you need to know about wheels, I'm sure others will know too but if all else fails hes your best bet.

    Found this for you also:

    Holden VZ Commodore Specifications

Wheels: 15 x 6 inch steel on Executive; 15 x 7 inch alloy on Acclaim; 16 inch alloy wheels for Berlina; 17 inch alloy wheels for SV6, SV8, Calais; 18 inch alloy wheels for SS
    Tyres: P205/65 R15 95H for 15 inch wheels; P215/60 R16 95V for 16 inch wheels; P225/50 R17 94V for 17 inch wheels on Calais; P235/45 R17 93V for 17 inch wheels on SV6, SV8; P235/40 R18 91W for SS

Looks like you can probably got for 235/40/18's without any problems as they come stock on the SS.
    Best RPG ever

Thanks for the reply and the useful info.
The link is good and I'll give my insurer a ring tomorrow just to confirm it all and might have to spoil myself for christmas early

Just spoke with RACV and they said as long as the car is street legal that I am covered.
They don't need to know exact details and what not.
Pretty surprised about that but happy.
