Has anybody ever experienced an oil filler cap on an Alloytech that had signs of corrosion between it and the fitting where it screws in, with the cap so tight you couldn't remove it by hand? My friend has just encountered this problem in a car he is thinking of purchasing. The corrosion is the white powdery effect you get with alloys when they have been degreased and the degreaser has not been fully washed off.
It's a no from me .... must have used one helluva engine degreaser!
