Vz SV6. Doors lock when I shut the door.

Hey guys problem with my sv6 vz 04 model. Every now and again when i shut the drivers side door it looks the car. Which is a real problem when if the key is left in there and you have a child sitting in the back seat with no way of getting her out, luckly we had the second key there.

Anyone know what causes this, also when we tried the button to unlock it would not work we had to use the key in the door.

Any info would be great

i know there is a setting in the computer which locks your doors when you put the car in drive but then unlocks in park which you can turn off, but that shouldnt have anything to do with it if the car is just sitting there, sounds like a bit of a faulty lock as also not unlocking with the key

i had some problems with my locks also at one stage, the front passenger door used to lock and unlock when it felt like it....mostly when i locked my car though it would not lock, therefor my car would beep at me everytime it played up lol. but that fixed itself? i like it when things do that
