Hi guys,
My car is having performance issues. I always fill 98 octane fuel. I have to press the peddle down hard to get upto 60 k/hr . Looks like engine is taking too much power to move the car. I have checked air pressure.
Tyre are brand new
Recently topped engine oil
Coolant is full
No error codes shown at all.
I suspect will it be spark plugs ? . Is there a way to find out ?
Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Auto or Manual?
coil packs? .... depends if it's missing on acceleration................ OR if your just driving on really hot day, it's probably just knocking like crazy (engine wise). If it's heat try a Mace Manifold Spacer..... they help a tad

it is just missing acceleration on rainyday even.
it is automatic.
You never said it was missing.... does it miss while in neutral(No load...)?
Coil packs(As mentioned..), Injectors, Plugs, Slipping torque convertor, Gearbox oil low(auto)... pcv/vacum leak, Knock sensor, TPS... would be the tings I would look at first.
Good luck.
i am just suspecting that it is spark plug as i have to press the accelerator half way down to achieve 60 k /hr . it is not missing. thanks for help !
tomorrow i will get new spark plugs
Are you releasing the handbrake lol

vz starts beeping if handbrake is not released![]()
spark plug changed - issue resolved.
So, what exactly would you put that down to (replaced plug(!!)) a lack of maintennance or part failure ? Why did you only change one plug when you consider the amount of work to get access to them.
Logic tells me he did replace them all and simply made a typo.

all plugs - (typo)![]()
I'm surprised it was the plugs cause normally you would feel the miss, or notice the engine note changed. And when a plug fails, it fails all the time, so idle would be rough.
