Touch up paint, pens, etc

We never see these things at the car yard until u've had the car for a few weeks.
Looking for touch-up paint to fix a few minor scratches and chips.
Couldn't find any in supercheap auto. Anyone know where I can find some?

Try your local Holden Dealer. Ring around to save time/petrol.

Try autobarn. But word of warning it does stand out. The paint doesnt have the same level of shine or colour. If its major you should consider a respray of that area. If its small use a toothpick and some of the paint to hide it, remember to sand the area first.

If it's a HSV colour, then you can get the touch up paint from Holden for around $15. I was lucky, my VY Exec is Quicksilver which happens to also be a HSV colour.

the scratches are very minor. but i cant help looking at them and wanting to do something about it. what do you mean by use a toothpick?

Not sure if its HSV colour or not its just your usual impulse blue SV6.

Get the paint code from the compliance plate under the bonnet, then ring Holden, they'll tell you straight away via their computer whether it's HSV or not.
