If you're looking at 'best possible power' as you say, you don't want X-Force. Look at a better quality cat-back. Also you want your cats to flow so 3-4" would be better than 2.5".

Pacemaker, Whole 2.5" exhaust system for $2300.
Either that or Difillipo for about the same. I personally profer the sound from the Pacemaker system.

    Xforce is cheap nasty shit...

Don't use a Cannon. I'll come to your house, cut it off and jam it up your arse.

i bought a xforce twin 2.5 full stainless catback for a 100 off a mate and it sounds good but if you just want max power go the full 1 7/8 extractor with full twin 3 cats and system

if you want max power on a dyno the 1 7/8 with twin 3 will net you the biggest hp but low rev torque will suffer unless going big cam

    No thats not true.

For a totally standard 5.7, twin 3" is too big.
    Single 3" is too small.

Twin 2.5" will flow enough to see over 450hp.
Bigger and you'll loose exhaust gas temperature and therfore velocity, smaller and you'll restrict the flow and loose velocity.

Even with a cam you wont need a twin 3". Everyone will say you do.
But I've seen cars push 500hp through 2.5" pipes.

Unless you're going a REALLY big cam in it, you don't need twin 3".

I'm running Pacies high flow cats and twin 2.5" exhaust on my car at the moment.
I'm planning to run a fairly aggressive cam with it. I don't intend to change it.

Ausome starting to get a good idea, thanks mate. So far im going pacemaker 1 7/8 4-1's (ceramic coated (cos some1 said pacies dont do stainless headers?) and high flow metallic cats (dont know if im going difillipo or pacey cats here but theyll be 3") and for the system difillipo twin 2.5 stainless with 3" tips for show. what do you reckon?

3" cats is a waste of time if the rest of the exhaust is 2.5".

Price how much it will cost you and check the pacemaker systems on ebay.

True ok somebody else did say this also. Now ive just recently spoken to darren difillipo and discussed a system. Main questions to date twin 3" or twin 2.5" (i want to go tha 3" but am told is overkill unless cam/head is done.) or should i just go it would it sound better or worse? been assured there wouldnt be a drone, just the 2.5" would sound more aggressive when given to it and the 3" would be a louder idle. i dunno, i wanna think going tha 3" wouldnt be a mistake but its a bit of a catch 22..? at least then its charger ready. Also leaning more towards 1 3/4, 4into1 headers due to them being better low end with little work done to motor while tha 1 7/8 would be better top end after cam or charger. gettn closer to purchasing something but want to be 100% happy i guess.
