can the buttons and surround from a black unit be put on a tempest one

if you can work out how to undo it. remove the head unit and see if there are screws that hold it on. i ripped mine off because the bastard headunit wouldnt come out or release. i think its only held on by clips but i can check tomorrow if i remember. other than that, theres one cable that you have to disconnect, which is easy as

The facia can be swapped over easily. It is retained by a number of screws and wiring connectors. There might be clips as well, I can't remember, but I have dismantled mine when I removed all the grey paint to end up with a black facia.
