Vz passenger door wont open from the inside

OKAY THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I COULD THINK OF TO ASK
MT MATE HAS A ford falcon forte AND THE PASSENGER DOOR WILL ONLY OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE! ANY IDEAS!!????

cant really know what the problem is until looking inside the door.
could be a number of things

so best bid is to take the door trim off n have a look??

is it remote central locking?

could be a clip broken on the end of the rod for the door handle,could be the arm on the locking mechanism bent.
i havnt dealt with a vz before but i cant see them being much different to any other car.
take the door trim off and see if anything looks out of place

shit i didn't even read that first post right i missed the ford bit.
tell your mate to jack up the number plates and put a new car between them
that should fix the problem

on another note, have you checked to see the child lock isnt on?
