VZ Calis transmission

My VZ auto transmission won't select a gear and it can't be driven. What could be wrong and what could it cost?

best thing to do... get a transmission person to come and check it out

Yeah mine did that too , the car started normally but i couldn't select any gear . The gear lever would move into drive or reverse but nothing would happen. I turned it off removed the ignition key waited a few seconds then restarted it and all was ok, very strange i wonder if resetting the computer would help
