Hi all
Ive been lookin at getting a 5.7lt VZ Calais and im not sure what the difference is between the 04 and 05 models, been looking through the forums but i cant find n e thing on this specific subject.
Been lookin on carsales and various other websites and the 04's are cheaper than the 05 models, other than the age i cant see why they would be as the features apear to be virtually the same.
Also is their n e added features (apart from the 6lt) to the 06 VZ that would make it worthwhile paying the bit extra for?
at this point im confused by the whole thing, n e advise or info would be much appreciated, cheers
im pretty sure theyre the same, as with sv6's, they went different from mid 05, then more upgrades in 06 model. wikipedia holden commodore, it should have some info on there
Oh cool, never even heard of redbook, just checked it out, very helpful! Looks like there's no difference between them except for the engine in the 06 model. Im very tempted by the 6.0L now lol
Thanks guys
Go the 6.0L much better starting point.
Nothing wrong with the LS1 but as the Americans like to say " THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR CUBIC INCHES".

Hahaa yeah just what i was thinkin! Good advice i say.
Future Mods i wanna get
K&N Panel Filter
2.5" Dual Cat back exhaust with high flow cats
Extractors (not sure what brand, DiFillipo or Pacemakers)
MAFless tune
Goin for performance not sound, (although a nice note would be good) from what i could gather from the other threads, this would be the best set up, short of payin big bucks for forced induction.
N e one know what kind of power i would be getting with this setup?
Doesnt the VZ 6.0lt also have the better select-omatic auto trans ie , sports shift auto????
