im currently looking at buying a 05 vz ute. the write up on the car says it has airbags in the rear, just wondering if anyone knows how they ride with them, and if theyre practical or not?
is it a load carrying air bag such as airbagman or polyair thats fitted inside the rear spring, or has the rear spring been removed and a airbag fitted in its place?, if its a load carrying air bag you pump them up when you carry a load and when empty you let the pressure down and it rides normal. they work quite well.
theyre polyair, the springs are still in. there called firestone blue bags. just wondering if it effects the way the car rides?
the blue firestone bags are airbag man one, imo they are better than the polyair, if the pressure is down around 5-8 psi it wont ride any different than with out them, you have to maintain 5 psi minimum.
no worries mate, cheers for ur help.
i know a few mates that have airbag suspension and they say it rides 100% smoother than regular suspension
do u like biscuits and cheese?
