    Default 19" on a vz sv6

    been looking through all the threads but havent found the answers sooo..

    im buying 19" wheels tomorrow and want to put super lows in
    do i have to roll the guards?

    I have SSL rear springs with 19's and I didn't need to roll the guards, So if you're just putting in SL's I think you'll be right

    same with me, and sl springs wont be much if at all lower then your fe2 springs?

    EOI....VE SS 18" wheels x4 with 5000k's on new tread, 2 of have very minimal gutter rash (previous owner) otherwise like new send me a pm if interested.

    are ssl's the equivalent to ultra lows? 60mm?

    i got my 19s today, definitely needs to be lowered
    would i need to get anything new with ssl's?

    you'd be helping yourself a lot if you got sports shocks with them, apparently if you have the stock shocks you're in for a very very bumpy ride..

    just into pedders and got the $14 checkover, apparently i need to change the strut rubbers or something? and wheel alignment.. gonna cost me nearly 500, 150 of it being labor lol
    so might get some springs while im at it lol

    Struts are cheap, and wheel alignment shouldn't be that much :\ - Commodore Strut Top bearings x2 VR VS VT VX VU VY VZ VE (eBay item 150555264834 end time 08-Feb-11 00:30:54 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

    bob jane t-mart gave me an alignment once for 40 bucks, and completely ####ed my steering, the alignment of the wheels were actually worse after they touched them

    i got the same with kmart doing a wheel allignment lol...

    yeah i thought it was pretty crazy.. might pick up a set on ebay and get my mechanic mate to do it :P
    havent got any other quotes yet, heres the list:

    VRon bearing plate x2 $98
    bolt and nut x2 $34
    fitting $150
    wheel allignment $140
    commodore strut brg x2 $70
    and 44.73 gst lol
