this has been set up but i was pressing unlock and lock a bit last night as i was trying to see something and now all the things like the autmatic head light thing and that that i set up in the system to not do anything when press unlock or lock like stay on etc ,, is there a fuse or something i can look at i tryed reseting it in the menu mode but nothing.
So are you saying that all your lights are stuck on wether or not it's locked or unlocked? Just check the timing settings in the main menu before you start your car.
They are all set to 30 secs as i put them i tryed resetting that when i click the unlock butten the head lights dont come on or when i press lock it is in the right possion for it cause when i put the key in the igniton they come on I think I have broken it some how...
For some reason it worked once or twice.
I am really worried.
Sorry I am not very good at explaing u Have set my light on the roof to stay on the 30 when i press unlock or locg or open a door they go off straight away.
and same issue with the headlights they are set to 30 sec when aproching car pressing unlock or lock this does not turn on but realised when you put the key in the igniton the lights come off take it out wait 30 sec and the head lights turn off.
I'm sure nothing is wrong mate.
I don't use that function much but believe (I could be wrong) that you need to leave your lights set to "auto" on the lights switch. Give that a try.
Its not that though cause the curticey light above your head thing when u drive should come on for 30 and dont.. I am going to drive and get my secound key from partner and see if it works..
When you unlock the car or lock the car the interior light will come on. Put the key in the ignition and it will go out! Exiting the car and remove key, lights will be on, lock car and should stay on for 30 seconds if set correctly. If you want the interior light to stay on while driving, select the manual "on" switch and will stay as long as you want. Why do you want lights on for so long anyway?
I think it has seem to work it self out. I took it for a drive and then tryed it again all seems ok .. if it happends again i will let you know even the interior light wouldnet come on now but it all seems now that it is good
The body control module will require a pause during a specified number of repetitive lock/unlock cycles; it is referred to as "overload". When this cut-out occurs, one or more functions and indications of locking, will not work and the vehicle may remain locked or unlocked. Wait for say 30 minutes for the system to reset, then operate normally. Options as to whether headlights come on (and for how long), indicators and inside dome (again, for how long) are set up through the Mode+Options menu (with an exit from that menu at the end, not turning the key away from ACC-ON or turning the engine off).

The headlight approach/auto cut-off only works if it's dark.
During the day if you unlock the car, the headlights won't turn on because the sensor recognises that it is still daylight. However at night time, the light sensor detects low light, and will turn the headlights on when you unlock the car.
Need a part number? PM me.
