hey guys im picking up 5 ve super sport 20" on tuesday for my vz sv6
after i get them machined will they rub with the stock springs in
and when i get it lowerd how low should i go with them on

ccruzn low? I like the look of this too... oh I possibly would paint the brakes too...fair sick rims but...thats the rim i would go for too btw... how much $$ you pay for them?

ok hit a small problem last night i was putting the wheels on last night and the front trye wouldnt fit it was hitting to spring support down the bottom
how did everyone else fit 20"s on teh front of a commodore

one the front atm it is 245/35/r20 if i got 225/35r20 willi it help

should do mate, i think ive heard people doing that to clear the spring. just have to be careful with load rating on the new tyres
Yep, thats what's on mine, the 245 bulges out too much and scrubs on the strut/spring saddle.
Like DM 55 WA said, have to watch the load ratings on them though, theres only a few tyres in that size with a load rating high enough.
Don't listen to tyre shops if they tell you "there isn't any brand of tyres in that size load rated for a Commodore." There is!![]()
dont listen to tyre shops in general lol, do the research yourself so when you walk in you can just spool off what you want
have a look what your load rating is, then have a look around on the net for a tyre that is or exceeds that load rating![]()
